D'Naerea is the name of both the fantasy world and the main contenent on that world. Two other significant land
masses existed prior to 900 AG:
the northeastern island of Silverblade; and
the western island of Ventura.
Both "islands" are really small continents in and of themselves, but due to their small size in relation to the major
continent, they are called "islands".

As unique as the world itself is the mythology of D'Naerea. From the "creation mythos" up to modern day (2nd century
FG), the mythologies and religions of D'Naerea have shifted and changed.
Elements play a vital role in most of the religions of the world. In D'Naerea, there are six recognized elements:
Earth, Air, Fire, Water, Metal, and Magic. It is from these six elements that the majority of pantheons and mythological
events occur.
Each race has its own interpretations of the older myths. In those cases where a particular story parallels between
pantheons, the practical student can see the correlation and realize that, in most cases, only the names have been changed.

During the 900s FG, the Magedom of Dorma and the Island of Ventura were very popular adventure settings. However,
in the 1200s, the Island of Silverblade became the popular retreat.
As our world has developed, we've seen more action on Silverblade than any other place in the world. This has led
to some very difinitive development of that region. Adventures can easily be mapped out using some of the detailed notes
and information provided in the Silverblade document.
